Novant Health Cardiothoracic Surgeons serve adult patients 18 years of age and over. Our surgical practice performs high quality cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery. We perform the following Cardiac Surgeries: Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (on and off pump), Valve repair and replacement (some minimally invasive), TAVR (transcatheter aortic valve replacement), Laser TMR (transmyocardial revascularization), Aortic Root Replacement, and surgery for Atrial Fibrillation(Cox Maze and Mini Maze). The practice performs Thoracic Surgeries including: Lung resection, open procedure and/or (with videoscopic VATS approach), Esophageal surgery (Neoplasm, myotomy), VATS sympathectomy for hyperhidrosis (sweaty palms). Perform surgery on all aspects of vascular occlusive and aneurismal disease.
