I am a General Surgeon, specializing in Gastrointestinal Minimally Invasive Surgery. The procedures I perform include inguinal and ventral hernia repair; cholecystectomy; splenectomy; anti-reflux procedures such as Nissen Fundoplication and repair of paraesophageal hernias, and Heller myotomy for Acahlasia. My research interests include geriatric surgery (care of the elderly surgical patient)and the effect of age on the immune response to sepsis.
