Dr. Gollehon is a native of High Point, North Carolina. He attended medical school at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine where he received his Doctorate in Medicine. After medical school, Dr. Gollehon completed his General Surgery residency training at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine followed by a fellowship in maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Gollehon has extensive training in Orthognathic surgery, Reconstructive surgery, Facial Cosmetic surgery, Temporomandibular Joint Surgery, Head and Neck Surgery, and Implant Surgery. He has published numerous articles in the oral and maxillofacial surgery and cosmetic surgery literature and authored several textbook chapters on orthognathic surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, facial alloplastic implants, temporomandibular joint surgery, preprosthetic, and reconstructive surgery which have been published worldwide.
